Cultural intelligence, or CQ, is the ability to navigate and effectively navigate and interact with people from different cultural backgrounds. In today’s increasingly globalized world, having a high level of cultural intelligence is essential for success in both personal and professional settings. In this training, we will explore the key elements of culture, metacognitive strategies, the cultural intelligence model, and self-efficacy and their relationship to cultural intelligence. By the end of the training, participants will have a better understanding of cultural intelligence and how to improve their own CQ.
Training Components and Logistics:
This training will consist of a series of lectures, group discussions, and interactive activities. The lectures will provide an overview of the key concepts related to cultural intelligence, including the elements of culture, metacognitive strategies, and the cultural intelligence model. Group discussions will allow participants to share their experiences and insights related to cultural intelligence and will provide an opportunity for participants to apply the concepts to real-world situations. Interactive activities will provide participants with the opportunity to practice using metacognitive strategies and to develop their cultural intelligence.
